Bio:
Contemporary Visual Artist Yi-Chiao Chen is a contemporary visual artist whose practice explores the interwoven forces of motherhood, nature, energy, and abstraction through an Asian female perspective. Working across painting, photography, installation, video, and digital media, her work investigates how embodied experience, cultural memory, and invisible energies can be translated into a visual language of resonance and spirituality. At the core of her practice is the ongoing conceptual framework “Cosmic Mother,” which views motherhood not as a singular figure, but as a dynamic field of energy connecting nature, femininity, cultural symbolism, and the cosmos. Through flowing lines, layered textures, metallic pigments, and organic forms, Chen transforms personal and bodily experiences into metaphors of regeneration, balance, and interconnectedness. Her major bodies of work include Mother Flora, which merges botanical imagery with maternal symbolism; Curve Line Conversion, exploring energetic resonance through curves and metallic materials; and Blue-Gold Chaos, reflecting cycles of destruction, rebirth, and transformation. Within this constellation, the 21st-Century Madonna & Child series reimagines the traditional Madonna iconography through an Asian lens, addressing motherhood, identity, hybridity, and cross-cultural dialogue in the contemporary world. Chen’s work also engages deeply with emotional and spiritual inquiry. In series such as Emotion Series, she asks whether art can function as a conduit for emotional and spiritual connection. Drawing from her lived experience as a mother, she transforms intimate narratives of pregnancy, care, and vulnerability into a visual language that invites viewers into a shared space of reflection and resonance. Recurrent circular motifs in her work symbolize continuity, balance, and the unseen influences that connect individuals across time. Her work has been exhibited internationally at platforms including Saatchi Gallery (London Grads Now), Clio Art Fair (New York), Women in Art Fair at Mall Galleries (London), Art Expo New York, and Art3f International Art Fair (Luxembourg & Barcelona). In 2026, Chen was featured in Clio Art Fair Artist Spotlight (New York), with an in-depth artist review and interview discussing her Cosmic Mother project and artistic vision. This feature situates her practice within an international contemporary discourse on femininity, spirituality, and embodied experience. Through her evolving practice, Yi-Chiao Chen continues to explore how personal history, cultural identity, and universal energies converge—positioning motherhood as both an intimate experience and a cosmological force.

陳裔喬是一位當代視覺藝術家，她的創作實踐以亞洲女性視角探索母性、自然、能量和抽象之間的交織力量。她的作品涵蓋繪畫、攝影、裝置、錄影和數位媒體等多種媒介，旨在探究如何將具身經驗、文化記憶和無形能量轉化為具有共鳴和靈性的視覺語言。

她創作的核心是持續探索的「宇宙之母」概念框架。這個框架將母性視為一個動態的能量場，而非單一的個體，它連結自然、女性氣質、文化象徵和宇宙。陳裔喬運用流暢的線條、層疊的紋理、金屬顏料和有機形態，將個人和身體體驗轉化為再生、平衡和相互關聯的隱喻。

她的主要作品系列包括《母花》（Mother Flora），該系列融合了植物意象和母性象徵；以及《曲線轉換》（Curve Line Conversion），該系列透過曲線和金屬材料探索能量共鳴。以及象徵毀滅、重生和轉變循環的「藍金混沌」。在此框架下，《21世紀聖母子》系列以亞洲視角重新詮釋了傳統的聖母像，探討了當代世界中的母性、認同、文化融合以及跨文化對話等議題。

陳的作品也深入探索了情感和精神層面。在「情感系列」等作品中，她探討了藝術能否成為情感和精神連結的橋樑。她從自己身為母親的經驗中汲取靈感，將懷孕、照顧和脆弱等私密敘事轉化為視覺語言，邀請觀者進入一個共同的反思和共鳴空間。作品中反覆出現的圓形圖案象徵著延續、平衡以及連結不同時代個體的無形力量。

她的作品曾在多個國際平台展出，包括薩奇畫廊（倫敦「畢業生新銳藝術家展」）、克里奧藝術博覽會（紐約）、倫敦Mall Galleries女性藝術博覽會、紐約藝術博覽會以及Art3f國際藝術博覽會（盧森堡和巴塞隆納）。

2026年，陳裔喬榮登克里奧藝術博覽會「藝術家聚焦」（紐約）專欄，並接受了深度藝術家評論和訪談，探討了她的「宇宙之母」計畫及其藝術理念。這次專題報導將她的創作置於當代國際藝術界關於女性氣質、靈性和身體經驗的討論之中。
