The Blue Mind groundswell was founded by marine biologist, Wallace J. Nichols who has spent much of his life with and is well known for, his work in sea turtle conservation. He wrote the book, Blue Mind - The Surprising Science That Shows How Being Near, In, On, or Under Water Can Make You Happier, Healthier, More Connected, and Better At What You Do.
The aim of this movement is to connect (or reconnect) people to water as a means of enriching their lives on an emotional, mental, spiritual, and social level. With this connection comes a deep love for our waters. (And by loving our waters, we then become good stewards of our waters.) find out more about Blue Mind at and https://www.facebook.com/events/340466493283484/
