《Mother Flora: The Emergence of Light》呈現陳裔喬近年持續發展的藍色繪畫系列，從母性、自然、記憶、身體感知與生成轉化出發，透過層疊的色彩、有機性的運動與明暗節奏，建立介於物質與非物質之間的視覺場域。

作品在循環與靜止、成長與回返之間移動，使藍色不再只是色彩，而成為一種關於記憶、感知、身體與時間的空間。

此次作品於 CICA Museum Gallery M 的原始水泥空間中展出，畫面中的藍色與建築、光線及觀看距離形成新的對話，也讓作品在工作室之外產生另一種呼吸與節奏。

本次個展延續陳裔喬近年 Mother Flora 系列，以及更長期發展中的 Cosmic Mother 創作脈絡，持續探索母性經驗、自然、身體記憶與生成轉化之間的關係。

Mother Flora: The Emergence of Light brings together a selection of Yi-Chiao Chen’s recent blue paintings, exploring motherhood, nature, memory, bodily perception, and states of emergence and transformation.

Through layered fields of colour, organic movement, and shifting rhythms of light and depth, the works construct spaces that move between the physical and the intangible—between circulation and stillness, growth and return.

Installed within the raw concrete architecture of CICA Museum’s Gallery M, the paintings enter into dialogue with the surrounding space, allowing blue to operate not simply as colour, but as atmosphere, memory, and an evolving field of perception.

This solo exhibition forms part of Chen’s continuing development of the Mother Flora and broader Cosmic Mother body of work, in which maternal experience, nature, bodily memory, and transformation become interconnected visual states.
